8th Annual Pepper Memorial Classic
The Pepper Memorial Classic is a canine agility event that was established in 2000 by Lin and Greg Battaglia of Reno, Nev., after they lost their beloved Sheltie, Pepper, to lymphoma, the number one cancer in dogs. The agility trial is a remembrance for Pepper and his love for competition. Over the past 7 years, this event has raised over $70,000.

Summer Olympic Chomp-ianship and Wag-a-thon to benefit MAF!
Join MAF and Muttropolis at the Summer Olympic "Chomp-ianship" & Wag-a-thon event in Boulder, CO. Canine athletes will compete for both prizes and glory in challenging, non-sanctioned Olympic events such as a food inhaling contest, wagging contest, doggy-ice-cream eating contest, howling contest and much more.
The event will benefit the Morris Animal Foundation's Canine Cancer Campaign.

Theilen Tribute Symposium- 50 years in Veterinary Cancer Research starts right on Gordon's 80th Birthday!
Alice Villalobos, DVM, is organizing a special tribute symposium and 80th birthday celebration for Dr. Gordon Theilen. This has special note due to the MAF’s Canine Cancer Campaign effort.
The cancer symposium is a first of its kind to present research bullets that may apply future techniques which may eliminate cancer from high risk dog breeds delay its onset, provide curative therapy or treat cancer innovatively.

Racing Professional Pledges Season BMW Proceeds to MAF's Meisha's Hope Fund
Racing driver and team owner Steve Marcus and his partners will donate their 2008 season race proceeds from their new BMW Z4 M Coupe to the Meisha’s Hope AIHA/IMHA Fund #338 at MAF. Marcus will be debuting his BMW Z4 M coupe, which will sport paw print decals and the Morris Animal Foundation colors and logo.
